when fifi and i were bored during chem (i think) and we started playing BINGO! fun fun :) hahaha, and i remember there was once when both of us arranged the numbers in the EXACT same way, and so we kept calling like numbers both of us wanted, and cancelling the same spots. haha, until we realised halfway that our grid was identical. talk about PARTNER TELEPATHY :)

summary + opening for the week!

Hey peeps!

I would seriously like to thank the people who went down to take the 2.4 challenge, you guys really did a great job ya. They are basically jia yi, alston, yi chun, michelle(bi*ch. hehe=p) and andrew. If you did break your PB, good job! if you didnt, do not be sad as you have grown stronger. It is understood that everyone dislikes running as you may feel sweaty, dirty and tired after that, but if the whole class participated, won't it be more meaningful and there is more purpose to the run than to improve us physically only?


On the other hand, I feel that active participation of the class in such events would be strongly encouraged and a good job you guys did was at the sports carnival. The class was quite united and almost everyone gave their best. If you think you gave your best, that's good and you deserve a pat on your back. If you think you didnt, we would hope to see a more active side yea! =))


Furthermore, the netball team, you guys did well and do not feel bad as it can be seen you guys and girls did your best(this is where best isn't really enough). But there was a good fight put up and at least we showed sportsmanship yea. all the way T14! Sorry that im not sure for the floorball as i didn't see the match. I would also like to apologise that during the freesbie game, my tone wasn't very good.. sorry. (the person who reads this should know).

Well, anyway, its time now to start a new week- a new beginning. Whatever unpleasant things that may have happened or losses that we have gone through, the tears will run dry someday but the damage done to the soul will never be eroded by the essence of time.

Sports carnival!

Nice work guys in ALL the events, no matter how we did... anyway, it was kinda true what michelle said, the class spirit was much stronger today than usual so keep it up :)

NAIL IN THE FENCE

Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence.(Most importantly the last sentence.)

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.

Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same.

When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. " A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us."
